As part of EUGAL, a gas pipeline is being built by Gascade Gastransport GmbH in eastern Germany. The gas pipeline comes ashore from the Baltic Sea at Lubmin, and runs south towards Saxony and then across the border to the Czech Republic. In total, the EUGAL construction site covers a length of 810 km.

The first 140 km are being carried out by us, Koop Wasserbau GmbH. Our team of about 50 employees is working on site. Wells will be drilled, filters installed, and all the necessary water retention components erected and maintained.
In total, about 500 wells are sunk to a depth of 12 m, 70 km of deep drainage are milled, 35 km of DN 150 drainage pipe are laid and about 30 km of filter string are installed, using 400 vacuum piston pumps. The following machines are currently in use: 3 well drilling machines, 3 mud drilling machines, 1 milling machine and 7 cranes with crawler tracks.

Out of 12 lots, Koop Wasserbau is carrying out the dewatering of 6 lots for the following contractors.
