The WATR Group announces the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Walter Clausen GmbH as of April 11, 2023. The WATR Group thus continues its successful expansion strategy and develops into the leading provider of groundwater management in Europe.
The merger of the WATR Group with Clausen marks another important step in the implementation of the WATR Group’s strategic growth and expansion plan.
At the same time, it provides managing partner Martin Clausen with an orderly succession plan that focused on ensuring the continuation and further development of his company.
CLAUSEN
Clausen was founded in 1991 as a service provider for dewatering and was taken over by Martin Clausen in 2006. Since then, the company has developed into a leading provider of dewatering and water treatment services in northern Germany. From its headquarters in Quickborn (near Hamburg, Germany), Clausen serves customers from various industries, infrastructure construction and the energy sector.
